This is my website blog which shares my stock trading journey. I am a part time trader living in South Australia. I have been trading the Australian share market for the past 5 years and recently over the past 2 years I have successfully traded CFD’s of US listed stocks.

I am a full time doctor working in a busy medical clinic during the day. Opportunities to trade during office hours are difficult which is why the US share market and forex markets have allowed me to trade in the evenings after work and after spending time with my family.

I will share my knowledge learnt about technical analysis of charts and my trading successes and failures. I will post interesting chart setups and keep readers informed of any trades I take and how they follow through.

All of my technical analysis knowledge has been gained by reading over 40-50 books written by the best stock traders from Australian and the US  and trading the markets live for the past 5 years.

I am a member of the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA).

I hope you enjoy my website and experience the excitement of trading the fianancial markets

Happy Trading

  1. Ciao Flavio

When I first stumbled across your blog I got intrigued by your name. Now I enjoy reading your blog and tweets. Although Aussie myself I don’t like the sax much and prefer the us markets! Fx tou is my passion!

    Have a great trading week

    1. Hi Flavia
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I also trade US markets more so than ASX due to the greater number of trading oportunities.
Hope you enjoy my suggestions and setups

  2. Hi Flavio,

Been a fan of your charts on TradingView and StockTwits for awhile now. Many thanks for all your insights and hard work – much appreciated.

Was wondering if you had the time or inclination if you wouldn’t mind looking at UBNT. I am in the trade and think I need to exit. I am playing October calls, so don’t have the luxury of waiting long to get out. I was thinking of setting my stops at the pivot (as I see it – $32.82). But, I made the unfortunate mistake of setting my stops last week on SINA and getting crushed before this crazy run-up and am afraid to do the same again with UBNT.

Would love your thoughts on the chart and future of the UBNT.

    With thanks,

    1. Thanks for the positive comments in regards to the website.
I have had a look at the daily chart of Ubiquity Networks (UBNT). After a strong run up it has started to fall and is making a series of lower highs and lower lows. Having said that the pattern forming is a down sloping bullish wedge formation.
The concern I have is with the large bearish candle stick of Sep 12th which occurred on large volume.
In order for this to rise it needs to breakout and close above the $33.80 level which is the high of that bearish candle and the upper level of the downsloping trendline
      hope this helps

  3. I was looking over the charts again this morning just before market open and it looked so weak. So, I closed at the open and escaped a crushing loss. Thanks for you analysis. Thoughts on CREE?

    1. Glad to hear you got out . It looks like its going to keep falling.
CREE in downtrend has rallied to resistance level
20 and 50 day ema’s are down and price currently trading at 50 day ema
      bearish candle’s at resistance level
I expect this to keep falling and to test the lows of $54. Good one to short in my opinion

  4. Great website, Flavio, your charts are always well chosen and the guidance you give clear and logical. Keep up the great work!

    1. Hi Nick
Thanks for the positive comments . I’m glad you like the website and I hope to continue to provide easy to unxerstand charts
      Good luck trading
